I had a beautiful time in Lima playing at the Festival Internacional de Jazz Peru at Jazz Zone. I played with my trio featuring the great peruvian drummer Javier Linares and had the chance to jam with all the amazing musicians that were part of the festival: Arturo O'Farrill, Badal Roy, Gabriel Alegria, Laura Andrea Leguia and more! People's reception was incredible and we had a great greaaat time playing! --- I was thrilled with peruvian food... probably the best in the woooorld! I tried the REAL ceviche! I was the happiest person ever :) Soon I'll post some photos and hopefully videos of my performances in Peru, hope you come back and see them!
Now it's time to enjoy home: I'm back in CHILE for a month! :)

Tuve una increíble experiencia en Lima tocando en el Festival Internacional de Jazz Peru en Jazz Zone. Toqué con mi trío que tuvo como invitado especial al gran baterista peruano Javier Linares y tuve la oportunidad de tocar con todos los grandes músicos que formaron parte del festival: Arturo O'Farrill, Badal Roy, Gabriel Alegria, Laura Andrea Leguia y muchos más! La recepción de la gente fue increíble y tuvimos un hermoso momento tocando! --- Me quedé sin palabras probando la comida peruana... es la mejor del mundo! jaja probé el VERDADERO ceviche y fui la persona más feliz :) Pronto subiré fotos y videos de mis presentaciones en Perú, espero que vuelvan a verlas!
Ahora a disfrutar estar en la casita: en CHILE por un mes! :)

I'm very happy to tell you that I was confirmed for the IX version of the International Jazz Festival in Peru! We'll be flying to Lima the 26th of May and spend four days in the city playing and hanging with great musicians! If you have family or friends in Peru let them know about this amazing event!

Como todos deben saber, mi país sufrió de una catástrofe producto del terremoto del 27 de Febrero pasado, que por su dimensión dejó muchos daños. Lejos de casa, la necesidad de ayudar a mis hermanos chilenos es incluso más fuerte... es por esto que estamos organizando un concierto a beneficio con unos amigos músicos chilenos viviendo en Nueva York.
